Welcome.

We’re glad you’re here. It can take a lot of courage to start exploring ways to get help, to grow, or to get closer to yourself. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed and scared by past traumas and memories. Or you’re stressed and worried about what the future holds. Perhaps you’re tired of hiding parts of yourself from the world, or want to explore those parts and learn who you really are.

If so, you’re not alone.

At Evergreen, our goal is to empower women, LGBQ, transgender, and nonbinary youth & adults to help you heal from past wounds, grow into the person you’d like to become, and live your life fully.

Located in Boone, North Carolina, we serve clients and families throughout Watauga, Avery, and Ashe counties, as well as students at Appalachian State University, Lees-McRae College, and Caldwell Community College.

About us

As psychotherapists and social justice advocates, our approach is holistic - integrating traditional talk therapy with movement & breath practices where appropriate, as well as art-making, music, nature, and community-building. We believe building a stronger relationship with your body, making space for play and creativity, and connecting with the world around you are integral to healing from past traumas, managing symptoms of anxiety and depression, building more authentic relationships, and developing a better sense of who you are.
